90Ten Design is a creative design studio that focuses on creating products that have a sense of “sprezzatura” – a studied simplicity.
I strive to create projects that inspire people. I understand that this inspiration is more than the finished project. Ninety percent of my work – design, research, getting to know the client, selecting the best materials for the job – goes unseen to create that final product. I put in the hard work to make your project look beautiful and effortless.
Who I Am
Luke Rumage – I am an architect by day, and a tinkerer by night. When I am not designing buildings, I am creating, sketching, and building custom furniture and home goods.
I received my bachelor’s degree in architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago and my Master of Architecture at Virginia Tech’s Washington Alexandria Architecture Center. I’ve lived in big cities and small towns in the Midwest and East Coast, eventually making my way west and settling down in the beautiful city of Kalispell, Montana.
Outside of architecture and design, I enjoy the outdoors: hiking, climbing, a good cookout, skiing, swimming, and sitting around a campfire roasting s’mores.
